05/18/2009

On May 16 and 17, 2009, TEAM GES biked along the Jersey Shore in the 2009 Coast to Coast MS Bike Ride hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The National MS Society is one of GES’ core charitable organizations, part of our CSR program. Employees chose to bike one or two days with rides ranging from 25 to 170 miles.

Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling autoimmune disease that attacks the central nervous system. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of the disease cannot be predicted and may range from numbness to paralysis or blindness. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, but the unpredictable physical and emotional effects can last forever. The National MS Society is dedicated to finding a cure for this devastating disease.
