Scott McKinney named Senior Vice President
08/31/2009
We are very pleased to announce the promotion of Scott McKinney to senior vice president. Scott joined GES in 1994 as an experienced consultant and a civil/environmental engineer and has long been a member of GES’ Advisory Council, with insight into operational management, business development, and strategic growth. Although he is easily recognized by his Tennessee twang, many may not know that he was the first site manager of our Pittsburgh office. As GES’ director of geographic expansion, he helped to develop a dozen new offices, among them Michigan, Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, and Houston. In recent years, his operational focus has been on Florida and the Southeast. Since 2007, Scott also has been program manager of the Shell account, working effectively with client leadership as we move forward under the current MSA as Shell's top-performing environmental consultant. “I have had the pleasure of working closely with Scott during the past fifteen years,” notes Ed Van Woudenberg, GES president. “His initiative, intuitiveness, and leadership have been instrumental in developing many of our strategies on geographic expansion, operations management, safety, and client program management successful. His engaging personality invites others to share his vision and follow his lead, and he has the track record to prove it.”
