“The people are what makes GES so special. I have developed relationships with so many talented people from all over the country. It is great to be a part of a company where everyone is eager to work together, bringing their unique skills to the table and working together to achieve great successes.”
Project Management Assistant III
As a Project Management Assistant (PMA) III for GES’ Great Lakes region, Nicole Lesnick knows a thing or two about multi-tasking. GES project managers and operations leadership rely on Nicole to facilitate and manage a myriad of behind-the-scenes tasks like contract administration, financial analysis and reporting, client invoicing, and client deliverable tracking. She also plays a key role in the quality control process as project teams prepare to submit technical deliverables for client and regulatory review.
Nicole started at GES in 2008, admittedly with very little administrative experience and no previous exposure to the environmental consulting industry. She leveraged her background in the fast-paced worlds of sales and retail to quickly excel in her new role. Taking full advantage of GES’ supportive team atmosphere, Nicole has gained valuable skills in the areas of finance and project management. She quickly climbed the ranks from her role as an Administrative Assistant to her current senior PMA responsibilities. Nicole continues to show growth through her involvement in a variety of special projects and initiatives.
She has also had the opportunity to make an impact at the corporate level. Nicole serves as the Coordinator for GES’ Quality Program where she works alongside quality team leaders to develop and manage a number of company-wide quality tools, processes, and procedures. Her role in the program provides her with the opportunity to collaborate across multiple internal groups such as HSSE, Operations, Finance, and Marketing. She is able to make hands-on contributions that make a difference in GES’ overall quality as a company, ultimately improving the client experience.
