GES’ air quality services encompass multidisciplinary environmental permitting, compliance and management consulting experience backed by technical expertise that comes from working in the oil and gas, energy generation, and manufacturing sectors.
We view client advocacy as a core responsibility. Our services are designed to help you:
- understand and adapt to dynamic regulatory change
- facilitate permitting and licensing of new installations and operations
- enhance regulatory compliance and reporting
- avoid costly permitting delays
With the right knowledge, you can make the right decisions. We have experience collecting and analyzing data to ensure compliance and organize strategic action plans to guide capital expenditures, technical assistance efforts, training programs, and pollution prevention programs. We can help your asset management and project teams determine the best path to timely permits and approvals; prepare your staff for compliance audits; and represent your interests at agency meetings.
Air Permitting and Regulatory Compliance
Our staff has experience stewarding the permitting and approval process for minor source construction, Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), New Source Review (NSR), Title V, operating permits, and permit modifications. GES can also conduct a permit audit in conjunction with emissions inventories to evaluate the permit status of each source. Our inventory development includes criteria pollutants, toxic contaminants, and greenhouse gases.
We can help your facilities successfully demonstrate control technology compliance for new source permitting projects or as a condition to maintain operation. We have experience determining the applicability of and complying with control technology demonstrations such as Best Available Control Technology (BACT), Lowest Achievable Emission Rate (LAER), and Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT).
