Minor Modification Permit Support at Power Plant

GES received a request from our client to assist with permit support for a minor modification of an existing permit condition that limited the way compliance had to be demonstrated. An amended permit condition allowed an alternative compliance scheme to be used that provides flexibility to monitoring and reporting for the client’s large auxiliary boiler operated at their power plant. The permit modification was drafted and submitted to the local air-permitting agency and US EPA for review. GES’ knowledge of the permitting process assisted the client in obtaining acceptance of the modified permit.
